To add the GpNetworkStartTimeoutPolicyValue registry entry and to define the value, follow these steps:<\/p>\n

  1. Click Start<\/strong>, click Run<\/strong>, type regedit, and then click OK<\/strong>. <\/li>\n
  2. Expand the following registry subkey:\n

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows NT\\CurrentVersion\\Winlogon<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. Right-click Winlogon<\/strong>, point to New<\/strong>, and then click DWORD Value<\/strong>. <\/li>\n
  4. To name the new entry, type GpNetworkStartTimeoutPolicyValue, and then press ENTER<\/strong>. <\/li>\n
  5. Right-click GpNetworkStartTimeoutPolicyValue<\/strong>, and then click Modify<\/strong>. <\/li>\n
  6. Under Base<\/strong>, click Decimal<\/strong>. <\/li>\n
  7. In the Value data<\/strong> box, type 60, and then click OK<\/strong>. <\/li>\n
  8. Close Registry Editor, and then restart the computer. <\/li>\n
  9. If the Group Policy startup script does not run, incrementally increase the value of the GpNetworkStartTimeoutPolicyValue registry entry until the problem is resolved. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
